Half Moon Cay was beautiful with the the half moon shaped beach. Ross did some snorkeling while I laid on the beach. We walked up and down the beach. We found out they had a free barbecue really good and then we headed back to the ship around 1:00 p.m. They had to tender (they use smaller boats) us out to the shore because there is no docks big enough for these huge cruise ships.
Here we are along with some of our cruise mates on the tender you can see just how big the Zuiderdam is.
Half Moon Cay in the distance.
The water is a beautiful blue.
Apparently Half Moon Cay is owned by Carnival so this is where they take the people who are on cruises.
This is was a nice fountain in the town square.
Here I am on the beautiful beach of Half Moon Cay I was here in 2009 celebrating my best friends 50th birthday.
Which way should we go?
So true!!!
The Zuiderdam in the background.
Ross enjoying the beach and blue waters.
They have cabana's and little huts that you can rent if you want.
Take the small sailboats out for a spin.
Cabana's for rent anyone?
The flowers were beautiful
White sandy beaches for miles.
This is the tenders that take you back and forth to the main cruise ships.
Enjoying a nice shower and relaxing before dinner.
They have polar bear statues by the pool.
My appetizer, shrimp, with capers and cream cheese.
This is what the main dinning looks like, I am going to be spoiled for the next 11 days.
One of my favorite parts of a cruise is to see what animal they will make next.
